We all love to eat Pizza and if that has those liquid cheese dripping from it, more yummy. Yes I am talking about the cheese burst pizza.
Many of us might think it takes lot of skill to make such a pizza but today I will show you how to make cheese burst pizza, that too without oven and without using yeast in the pizza dough. It is simple and easy, no need to spend so much money and order pizza online when you can make it right at your home.
Lets get started....then...
I am dividing the ingredients and steps into different parts so that it is easier for you to understand and make the pizza.
- 3/4 cup or 100 gram Maida (All purpose flour)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt or as per taste
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp oil
- Curd (Dahi) - As per kneading requirement
Use Dahi or curd to knead the dough, knead it well to make it soft.
Divide dough into two (2) parts of 1/3rd and 2/3rd each.
Take the 1/3rd part or the small dough ball, make a disc shape using a rolling pin, the disc would be thin and circular. (TIP: Use maida dust while rolling as the dough would be soft and the size of the disc would be of your choice, as per the plate that you would use to place the pizza for baking, it could be 7" or 8" or 11", any size you like).
Heat up a TAWA (Frying Pan), roast the thin maida disc (roti), in low flame. (Do not use any oil, we just need to slightly roast the maida roti.
Make sure the roti is still soft (you should be able to fold it easily without making any indent or cracks) and golden spots are not visible much.
- Heat up a big KADAI (pan) with a lid.
- Put 250 grams of salt (Namak) in it - You can store this salt once used and reuse it again and again for all your baking purpose.
- Spread the salt inside the kadai, evenly.
- Now put a metal stand or steel bowl on top of the salt (this will act as a separator between salt and pizza plate).
- Close the lid and heat it on high flame.
While the kadai is getting ready to bake the pizza, let us prepare the cheese burst pizza.
Take the 2/3rd part of maida dough.
Sprinkle some powder maida or maze flour (makkai ka atta) on your rolling station, use a rolling pin and roll the dough, make a disc shape of the same size as of your plate.
Take the plate or baking tray which you will use to bake your pizza.
- Put 1 tbsp melted butter and grease the plate properly.
Now place the maida disc on the plate (this is our pizza base).
Using a fork, prick holes in your dough (this is done to avoid puffing up the pizza dough).
- Add 3 to 4 tbsp cheese spread (readily available in the market, use any brand), on the pizza base.
Spread the cheese spread properly on the pizza base. (TIP: Leave 1" to 1&1/2" from the corners of all sides while spreading cheese).
Now place the roasted maida roti on top and pinch it to the pizza base, seal the cheese spread inside between them - Refer the pic).
Prick some more holes using a fork, again. (Final pizza base is ready).
- Add 1 tsp Pizza sauce (Comment if you want the recipe).
- Add 1 tsp Red Chilly sauce
- Add 1 tsp Schezwan sauce
- Add 1 tsp tomato sauce
Mix them well, and spread it evenly on top of final pizza base.
Now for the yummiest part - Add 50 grams of Mozzarella cheese (diced or grated) and Add 10 grams of cheddar cheese (diced).
Add diced or julienn cut vegetables of your choice, like green capsicum, yellow capsicum, corn, onion, tomato, olives, jalapenos and paneer (cottage cheese).
Sprinkle some more mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetable toppings. (This is done to let the veggies stick properly).
Before we start baking, brush some melted butter on the edges of the pizza.
Keep the pizza plate or baking tray inside the kadai, on top of the metal stand and close the lid. Cook in high flame for 15 minutes to 17 minutes.
Keep a check within intervals to see if pizza is ready or not. Once the pizza is ready, remove it from the baking plate and sprinkle some oregano and chilly flakes on top.
Wow!!! Cheese burst pizza without oven and no yeast used, is ready to be smacked and eaten.
