Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, the first meal that we have which gets us going for the whole day. It is believed that one should keep breakfast heavy, lunch light and dinner lightest so that our stomach and liver get lot of time to digest everything properly.
Many of us try to eat healthy foods in breakfast and so we take boiled eggs, milk, corn flakes, fruits, muesli, almonds, orange juice type of foods, but what about if I say eat heavy calorific food in your breakfast since you have the whole day to burn those calories.
How about I share a recipe of a very heavy breakfast with you today which might help you skip your lunch as well.... One of the most eaten breakfast menu is bacon, eggs and bread or bread omelette with chunks of boiled chicken. So why not use these items - omelette, chicken and breads to make something yummy and delicious for breakfast. Let us make Bread Omelette Burger with Chicken Seekh Kabab. Let's Begin...
Steps to make Chicken Seekh Kabab:
- Take 3 pieces of frozen chicken seekh kabab (De-frosted)
- Slit it from middle
- Use 1 tbsp butter to roast these chicken seekh kabab in a non stick cookware / pan
- Once they turn golden brownish from all sides
- Cut each of them into half (You will get 6 pieces)
- Keep it aside
Steps to make Bread Omelette:
- Take 1 full burger bun and 1 half burger bun (half of the burger should be the bottom potion)
- Cut the full burger bun into two halves (you have 3 slices now)
- Break 3 eggs in a small bowl or glass
- Add 1 tbsp chopped onion
- Add 1 tsp chopped fresh green chilly
- Add salt to taste
- Add 1 pinch of turmeric powder
- Add 1 pinch of chicken masala (optional)
- Add 1 pinch of red chilly powder
- Mix and whip it or blend it using a spoon, fork or whisker
- Divide the mixture into three (3) equal potions
- Heat up a non-stick pan with 1 tbsp butter or mustard oil
- Put 1 potion of the egg mixture in the pan (cooking an omelette)
- Put a slice of bread on top of the mixture
- Repeat this step for the other 2 slices / pieces of the burger
- Keep all 3 pieces of bread omelette aside
Steps to make Poached Egg / Egg Poach:
- Now let us make an egg poach with sunny side up
- Heat up a non-stick frying pan once again
- Add 1 tsp butter or mustard oil
- Break an egg directly on the pan (do not stir it)
- On top of the poached egg
- Add 1/2 tsp chopped onion
- Add 1/4 tsp chopped green chilly
- Sprinkle salt to taste
- Sprinkle black pepper powder and red chilly powder for seasoning
- Cover it with a lid, cook for a minute
- (NOTE: Cook only one side of the egg do not over turn else the yolk which looks like a sun will break)
- Take it out carefully (do not break) and keep aside
Assembling the BURGER:
- Take a plate
- Place 1st slice of bread omelette (bottom part of the burger)
- On top place 2 pcs of chicken seekh kabab
- Then sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala
- Put little tomato sauce / chilly sauce / american mustard sauce on top of chicken seekh kabab (you can put all or any sauce as per choice)
- Put a slice of cheese
- Place the 2nd slice of bread omelette (another bottom part of the burger)
- Now on top of 2nd slice
- Put 2 thin sliced cucumber
- Put 2 thin sliced tomato
- Put 1 small lettuce leaf (optional)
- Put 2 pcs of chicken seekh kabab
- Put 1 slice of cheese
- Spread 1 tsp mayonaisse
- Now put the 3rd slice of bread omelette (top part of burger)
- On top of this 3rd slice, put the sunny side up egg poach
- Fix everything with a long tooth pick stick.
Triple Decker Bread Omelette Burger with Chicken Seekh Kabab is ready.
You can serve it with some tomato sauce and chilly sauce, along with some french fries.
