Every state in India was under lock down for more than two and a half months, while we all were fighting with Corona, to live safely, a more bigger threat grew over the Bay of Bengal in the form of a super severe cyclone, named AMPHAN. West Bengal, and in particular The city of Joy - Kolkata has not seen such a devastating cyclone for years. The cyclone did the dance of death for hours and hours over the city of joy, wreckaging havoc all around the place, uprooting big trees and electric poles. Bringing the city to a halt and stand still which it was already in. Accompanied by heavy rainfall, water logged quickly on all streets over kolkata. Electric supply was cut of for more than 3 hours in almost most part of the city to avoid any accident during the cyclone. Many places in kolkata did not got electricity for more than 2 to 3 days even after Amphan passed away.
As if this was not enough, in just a weeks' time came in the KAAL BAISHAKHI (the norwester), followed by another Cyclone named Nisarga, this time it was the Western part of India to deal with, not to forget the swarm of locust that came traveling miles and miles from that of Africa to Pakistan and then to India. It all seems as the GODS are bringing down their wrath on this world, specially India, this was not enough that we also got to hear big asteroids passing by Earth, all this news each day made us fear more and more and think - Is this the END of Humanity, is this the end of the world.
Oh!!! all this was not enough and we all are still struggling to get back to normal life when a small earthquake hits Delhi, measuring 4.6 in the ritcher scale, it gave a jerk and just a day or two back two more earthquakes with magnitude of 4.0 and 4.1 had hit Jamshedpur in Jharkhan and Hampi in Karnataka.
Yesterday, some media and news channel showed a news about a big earthquake which might come in very shortly and the epicenter would be Kolkata, it was predicted that a big earthquake can hit Kolkata anytime before the Puja (October month), though some experts said that predicting the time of earthquake is not possible but then they all are speculating the fact.
Brace yourself, citizens and noble men and ladies, we are heading towards a catastrophe.
