Roti, for all those who does not know, is a name given to a flat bread. Generally roti is an Indian flat bread mostly made of wheat flour (atta), but in some cases rotis are even made using maida (all purpose flour). On the other hand pizza, as most of us know is an Italian dish where the flat bread is made using refined flour (maida), is topped with a special sauce known as pizza sauce and some toppings along with cheese and then baked.

So how about making Pizza using the roti as a base. Yes, friends I am talking about Roti Pizza because in Indian households, generally rotis made are mostly in excess and thus turn out at the end of the meal to be left overs. Thus when we do not eat those left over rotis the next day then we either throw them or feed them to any animal or birds.

What if we can make Roti Pizza quickly, thus our left over roti will not be wasted and would be used, moreover we will have a tasty pizza to snack on. Moreover it is easy, quick and fast to cook roti pizza. Get ready with your kitchen tools my friends. Here is the recipe for roti pizza. Let's Begin.....


Ingredients and Steps:

Heat up a pan.

  • Put 1 tbsp butter

Grease the butter on the pan with the help of a brush.

  • Add your left over roti (Indian flat bread)
  • Add pizza sauce on top of roti and spread it evenly
  • Add your toppings (You can add any vegetables you like)
  • Add some onions
  • Add little corns
  • Add capsicum (fine chopped)
  • Add jalapeno (sliced)
  • Add tomatoes (julienne cut)
  • Add some green chillies (chopped)
  • Add mozzarella cheese (grated)

Close the lid of the pan.
Cook in medium to low flame for 2 - 3 minutes.
