Well, here is another recipe for chutney, it is called the red chutney, so let us see how to make this red chutney, Let's Begin..........
Ingredients & Steps:
Heat up a pan.
- Add 5 tbsp oil
- Add 2 tbsp sesame seeds (til)
- Add 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- Add 6 cloves of garlic
- Add 5 - 6 curry leaves
Toss and cook for 2 - 3 minutes while stirring and making sure onions do not get brown.
Transfer the contents in a mixer grinder.
- Add 1 cup coconut (freshly grated)
- Add 10 - 12 dry Kashmiri or Byadagi red chilli (soaked for 3 - 5 hours)
- Add 1 small piece of tamarind (Imli)
- Add 3 tbsp channa dal (roasted)
- Add salt as per taste
- Add 4 - 5 tbsp water
Grind properly, to get a semi thick paste.
Red Chutney is ready.
